I'm heading to Seattle on Tuesday to photograph a live dance performance at my home studio and I'm SO excited. Photographing live performers is always a dream - interesting lighting, genuine movement, and souls pouring out - what more could I ask for?
This series features The Catastrophe, a stunningly quirky group of dancers directed and choreographed by the talented Cat Cogliandro. The full show was a magnificently woven story, inviting audiences into a world made of beautiful movement and expertly chosen music. I hope these images translate the magic that went on in that theater and I hope you all go see this epic company the next time you get a chance!!
