Meet Melissa. She's an incredible dancer, choreographer, person, and she just so happens to be another one of my former instructors. I met her as her student in Redmond, Washington at Premiere Dance Center around 12 years ago (omg we're old) and now after several years apart we're lucky enough to live in the same city again! She was recently in an amazing Andrew Winghart video too! (Check it out here).
We shot this series at the Walt Disney Concert hall in downtown LA and though getting down there is always a nightmare, it was SO worth it. The curvy architecture coupled with the smooth, shiny textures of the building made for some really incredible lighting and we definitely weren't the only ones taking advantage of it!
Needless to say, I've got a new favorite place to shoot and I'm so glad we decided to adventure to somewhere new!
